Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma met, on September 6, 2024, with key Ukrainian officials in Kyiv, reaffirming the United States’ commitment to Ukraine’s economic recovery and resilience amid ongoing challenges.

In meetings with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko, and other senior leaders, Verma discussed various critical issues including the acceleration of extraordinary revenue loans and urgent energy needs.
